I’m very excited about this news.

Elijah Wood is joining the stellar cast of Sky1′s adaptation of Treasure Island.

The actor, best known as Frodo in the Lord of the Rings series, will star as Ben Gunn alongside Eddie Izzard as Long John Silver, when filming in Puerto Rico begins next month.

The new take on the Robert Louis Stevenson classic will be a two-part drama based on the story of Jim Hawkins (newcomer Toby Regbo) who discovers Flint’s treasure map.

The series also sees Ashes to Ashes star Phillip Glenister play Captain Smollet, Spooks’ Rupert Penry-Jones take on the role of Squire Trelawney and Made in Dagenham’s Daniel Mays as Dr Livesey.

David Harewood and Keith Allen also star as pirates Bones and Pew, who lead Jim into the murky world of piracy.

An oldish article.

A host of celebrities turned out for the Art of Elysium Halloween Ball on Saturday, October 30, in LA, and LookToTheStars.org’s Hollywood Insider Maxine Tatlonghari was there for this exclusive report.

Halloween in Hollywood is kind of a big deal. After all, we have access to some of the best costume departments in the world! So choosing where to spend it can be a big decision. Last Saturday night (October 30), Be Cause and The Art of Elysium held its 5th Annual Halloween Ball to benefit children being treated for illness and serious injury … and this is where we chose to kick off our night.

The Party was held at brand new venue 1616 in downtown LA. I’m a West Hollywood girl, so going this far east is a bit of a trek by LA standards… but this edgy new venue was a total treat. It lent itself to a good lay-out to separate the Silent Auction from the dancing.

Other attendees at the Ball included: Jennifer Stone, Liz Friedman (LA Ink) dressed as Kat Von D, Ryan Eggold (90210) fairy prisoner, Jessica Stroup (90210) dressed as a bumble bee, Carter Bays (How I Met Your Mother), Michael Raven (Celebrity Jeweler) , Katie Cleary (actress), Charlene Amoia, Toby Regbo and many more.

I just came across this on his agency, but he’s not listed in the IMDB for it.

TOBY REGBO  is Samuel in Lone Scherfig’s ONE DAY.

I searched and its said to be out next year.
